There is no page on this blog yet with the Plugins that I use mainly because they change constantly as I try out new ones. But I wanted to highlight some of the ones that are “keepers” just like I did earlier with the post about Sociable. Most plugins are offered for free so I figure that a little extra traffic is the least I can do to some my thanks to the programmers.
I really appreciate it when people comment on this blog and I have been looking for a good plugin in to show that appreciation. Now, when you post a comment on this blog, your most recent blog post will automatically show under your post thanks to the CommentLuv plugin. Pretty cool, eh? You get to say your piece and, in exchange, maybe get a few visits to your site.
Now my fellow sellers will like this one: if the link you give when you comment is your store, as long as your store has an RSS of your listings, it should show the most recent listing in the same way as it does the blog post. For instance, take a look at Kimi’s post here (it’s the first one). Because she put the link for her eBay store in the url section when she commented, it shows her most recently listed item below her post.
This plugin is free to download from the creator’s website. The creator, Andy Bailey, is also on Twitter and Skype so you can contact him if you need support for the plugin.
If you want to try out how this plugin works and experiment with it, you have my permission to post as many test comments as you like below as long as they are clear tests and not straight up spam.
