I don't like the faux links that lead to advertising either, but you know that already. :-) I have an ad blocker browser add-on on my laptop but not on my desktop because I like to click on ads of interest as a small way of thanking authors for articles I have enjoyed. 100% share your dislikes. They both tend to have poor opinions about other peoples intelligence too. Two things that make me suspect they may be secret members (well maybe not so secret) of the Green Ink Brigade: 1. I sell frou-frou girly greeting cards; my buyers are going to fall over themselves to buy your camo tee shirts and hunting knives? 2. Your time is so valuable and your business so successful why are you wasting it here?
