The death of print has been greatly exaggerated. One of the biggest lessons I took away from The Seller Ledger situation is that, while eBooks are certainly on the rise, paperback books are still selling well and are far from obsolete. To that end, while I originally conceived it as only ever being an eBook, Beyond Amazon, eBay and Etsy: free and low cost alternative marketplaces, shopping cart solutions and e-commerce storefronts is now available in paperback!

(No, you’re not seeing things. The image on the cover of the paperback is reversed from the eBook. At least it makes it easier to keep the versions straight!)

It’s priced at under $5 and, as of my writing this, Amazon’s got it at a discount. And the best part? The paperback includes a complimentary copy of the eBook when purchased through Amazon so you can give the paperback as a stocking stuff to a friend (or enemy, who am I to judge?) and keep the eBook for yourself if you want.

But the mean reason I’m giving the eBook away with the paperback is that I know this is an industry in motion and that info in that book will, eventually, go out of date again. While I can’t replace everyone’s paperback copy whenever that happens, I can update the eBook and this way, even those of you with the dead tree edition will still get the latest info in your hands as soon as I get it up.

The original eBook edition hit the bestseller lists on Amazon several times during it’s first year so I’m hoping this new edition will help the book find a whole new market. If you can think of someone who might dig it, please passing this news on!

(And you guys probably thought I was joking when I said I needed to be stopped from trying to publish a third book this autumn. :-P)
