I now present the exciting conclusion of the post entitled Just a small slice of life in the world of holiday ecommerce… from Dec 11th…

*many days later*
Buyer: Hey. I don’t know if you remember me but I wanted to buy one of your items but I didn’t want it if it didn’t have the box so you told me that you could cancel the transaction. But then you told me that you couldn’t cancel the transaction because I hadn’t bought anything from you so there was nothing to cancel. Do you remember this?
Me: I do indeed remember. 🙂 What can I do for you?
Buyer: Well, I noticed that you relisted the item we were talking about so I went ahead and bid on it and I won the listing.
Me: Well, thanks for the heads up! I’ll send that right out for you as soon as payment clears. Just to make sure we’re on the same page, it still doesn’t come with the box. Did you just change your mind?
Buyer: No, I still don’t want it. I just bought it because you said you couldn’t cancel the transaction since there wasn’t one. So you should be able to cancel it for me now, right?

You can’t make this stuff up, people.
