Imagine yourself sitting at the dinner table with my husband and I as we have the following conversation:
Me: “E-books worry me.”
Husband: “I thought you were all about e-books.”
Me: “I am as, like, an author and a publisher and a seller. I just worry about the whole ‘what happens when it’s the end of the world as we know it’ kind of thing.”
Husband: “What you mean?”
Me: “You know, the fact that all of our books, movies and music are now digital. If society breaks down and we no longer have any means to access that technology, all of our art and the knowledge of our entire culture will be gone forever. From a cultural standpoint, it would be like the last century didn’t even happen.”
Husband: “Eh. Let the Library of Congress worry about that crap.”
We turn and look at you. If you were to join this conversation, what would you say next?

Got room for one more? 😉
