I recently received some messages from readers informing me that Vendio Stores are no longer free. First of all, a big thanks to everyone who took the time to give me a heads up on this because, odd as this sounds since I have not one but two storefronts with them, Vendio never notified me of this as a user. So, without people letting me know, I would have had no idea of this change.

I had one quick Twitter exchange with Vendio who informed me that, while new stores go under their new (outrageous, may I add) pricing structure, apparently some storefront owners (including myself) are still eligible for the free storefronts. I asked them for an email contact that would let me ask some follow up questions and, as soon as I get that info, I will absolutely be filling you guys in with everything I know and updating my eBook.

I’m really kind of annoyed that they didn’t give me a heads up on this as a user but I’m going to withhold judgement until I get the official word from them on exactly what changed and for who. In the meantime, I appreciate your patience while I get this info and update the eBook.

The one silver lining in this is that I expected exactly a situation like this when I published the eBook which is why I asked users to email me whenever they noticed anything had gone out of date. This allows me to update the book at any time so, as soon as I have the most recent info, I’ll be able to have that in the book within a few hours.

Ain’t technology grand? 🙂

    Any update on this?

When did Vendio make this change?

    I wasn’t notified either.
