Amazon’s Goodreads sent me an alert about a book and recommended I buy it on… Barnes and Noble?

I realize it will probably take them some time to get their Amazon stamp all over the site but I still found this to be amusing. Here’s an email I just received from Amazon’s recent purchase, Goodreads.

Amazon's Goodreads recommends Barnes and Nobel

I’ve been eagerly awaiting The Rules since Stacey Kade is one of my favorite authors so it’s cool that they reminded me to order it. But I think it’s more than a little funny that their top recommendation to purchase it is not only Barnes & Noble, but Amazon isn’t even a choice on the list below that! Is this just Amazon trying really hard to be all, “Look how not a monopoly we are!” or is it some kind of reverse psychology?

Incidentally, if you’re on Goodreads, you can find me here.
