Step 1: Bang rapidly on the door while ringing the doorbell with your other hand. The faster and loud the better!
Yeah, man! BANG BANG BANG DING DING DING
Rock it!
Step 2: Throw the package down and then run, baby, run like the freaking wind! You want to be squealing those tires out of the neighborhood before the person you are delivering to can even get to the door to stop your onslaught of door bangs and bell ringing.
Run baby run!
Yeah! We are rockin’ now!!!
Then you do it all over again at the next house or maybe the same house the next day! This is better than the twist, baby! Yeeeehawwwww!

Or my favorite…When they have a signature required delivery….they knock lightly and run.
We have had the same guy since UPS came to the islands, his truck is so noisy I can hear him grinding up the hill, then he beeps. He knows better than to open the gate ever since Larry got out and got in his truck ready to go for a ride. Nice easy steps to climb, no problem. Larry is a sheep.
