Is becoming a Selling Assistant right for me?
Being a Selling Assistant can be very flexible and can easily evolve from a part-time to a full-time source of income. Because the SA has complete control over her/his own schedule, the job can be adjustable seasonally, is easy to run alongside a full-time job, and is a popular home-based business.
Some people who might want to consider becoming a Selling Assistant:
- Stay-at-home parents
- Students
- Retirees
- Teachers or other seasonal employees
- Someone between full-time jobs or job hunting
- Established online sellers looking for additional income and inventory
- Anyone looking for some extra income or a work-at-home environment
On the other hand, running a business, no matter what kind of business it is, is challenging, and a Selling Assistance business comes with its own host of issues on top of the usual ones. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, it’s just a viable business opportunity that, when done right, can be a good source of income.
There is work aplenty involved in running a successful SA business, but there are also lots of advantages. We’ll take a closer look at both throughout this book. Just keep your eyes open and make sure you’re thinking realistically as we start to think about the next steps.
