As you may have noticed, there haven’t been a lot of posts from me this summer on this blog or on Twitter, even though there has been some big eBay news. There are 3 main reasons for this:

1. Business, as they say, is booming and I have had to devote much more time to my company than I thought I would have to. I have several unexpected big work things that came into play and while all our good news for making money, they are all bad news for having extra time on my hands.
2. My personal life is hectic. Remember that time of your life when all your friends got married at the same time? Yeah, I am right smack in the middle of that time. I have been out of town every weekend since mid May through last weekend doing weddings, wedding showers, etc and, since I usually write up a few of my posts for each week on the weekend, the blog is suffer the effects of this.
3. I am totally redoing this site! When I started this blog, I just threw up a pre-made theme because I was in a rush which is why this site as no branding, is slow as heck and I am constantly complaining about the size of the navbars. I have been taking the little time I do have to work on the blog and using that to work on redoing it. My hope is to have it looking better, running better and being faster than ever in the next few weeks.

As you may have caught in that list, my wedding insanity season just ended last weekend so expect to see some posts from me here and there in the next few weeks as I slowly get back into the swing of things. When the new site design debuts, I assure you, you will hear about it so keep an eye out for that as well.

As for my usual readers, I hope you are having a wonderful summer and I thank you very much for sticking with both this blog and with me on Twitter and I think you’ll love what I have in store for this blog in the next year.
